No retakes

A friend of mine had asked me sometime back "Do you have any regrets in life?" I was riding on a crest that time and had replied - "None". Within a year, I landed in a trough :D Thats the way life is I guess, but thats not what I am going to write about. What I will write about is some things I regret.

Being the victim of an injustice is painful. Being the perpretator of the same is worse. This is an apology to a dear dear friend - nothing will ever be enough to repair the damage caused. No excuses, nobody to blame - I shall forever bear the responsibility of things not remaining the same. Wishing you the best in everything, always.

Stage fright causes more harm than one can imagine. A full auditorium felicitating me for an award, my parents in the first row and the fear to speak in front of a large audience robs me of a chance to thank my parents for the freedom to choose my path and the faith that I can follow it.Thank you Daddy and Mummy for being the best I could ask for.

There's no space for "retakes" in life..Silence is the most powerful tool that we have access to,but fail to utilise it at the right junctures..
Life makes us wise, with every day ticking by..I atleast see an evolved self after a day has gone..

yeah u r rite...there r no retakes in life....life might not give us a second chance to repent but at the same time the choice always lie wid us...according 2 me in every path there is a right turn and a wrong(left) turn....the choice is ours which way we want 2 go....

Hmmmm..There are no retakes in life??or are there??No i guess and yes..

No retakes in reality and plenty of them in virtuality..i mean..

All of us who utilise our grey cells..do at some point in time think that "what if this could have been that and not this"..atleast once in life we think..yaar..ye kyun nai kia..tab strike kun nai hua..ye karti to achcha hota..wo nai karti to achcha hota..

All of us do it..Its what makes us human and not ur mass produced "PERFECT" toys..

Ur introspection process is a retake in ur mind's eye and maybe if u are smart enuff..(which u r riti and i know that since we were kids)..u wont repeat the same mistakes in life..

The most optimistic of ppl have a life which is a homogeneous mixture of crests and troughs..the thing is they get out of the lows by thinking positive and not repeating their mistakes.

Everyone makes mistakes..that u wud agree on..u cant avoid certain things..otherwise the word "EXPERIENCE" would have no meaning..

And abt thanking ur parents..kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai that jo cheez aankhon ke bahut kareeb ho, wo dikhai nahin deti..

par jab dikhti hai..tab uski kadar ki jaaye to wohi sabse mwhwtwapurna baat hai..

Which u did..by going down the memory lane for a "RETAKE"..Maybe Introspection is A very Powerful retake and admitting it to urself helps in preventing u to repeat ur errors..

Love ur postings..Take Care..Muuuuuaaahhhh!!!!

Yes. No retakes exist in life. And probably that's the reason we try to live our life to the best we can.

every person makes mistakes . all our regrets (atleast all that i can think of myself) are about the mistakes . so doesnt that make regrets as inevitable as mistakes ? not if you read the first line again and then answer the question . it wont help escape the damage the mistake made .. but might help putting aside the pain of regretting . (easier said than done though :) .. )
